Double OTT UTVA Now Offers Tires, Wheels and Installation:

When choosing tires for your side by side, consider what kind of terrain you are driving on the most, and, if multiple types, which is the most challenging! All-terrain tires are the most popular choice because of their versatility. They are durable and great for casual exploration of most terrain.  Whether you’re working or playing, extreme terrain like snow, heavy sand or deep mud, requires a specialized tire. If your local terrain includes more than one type of surface, such as street, mud, rocks, sand, or snow, you need dependability, and there are tires designed just for those purposes.

Your Choices when Buying ATV/UTV Tires

You have many choices in terms of tire style and brand. These include:

  • Size
  • Traction/Tread
  • Price
  • Radial
  • Bias
  • Warranty

Size, traction, and price are at the top of the list when buying ATV/UTV tires. When it comes to the wheel size, your specific ATV or UTV model and its required size range will be listed. Next, the traction or tread should represent your terrain. It often comes down to price and how much you want to pay, but durable, reliable long lasting tires will keep you safe and on the road.

Tire Construction

Radial or bias tire construction, and the ply rating are also linked to performance. Steel belted radials mean maximum puncture resistance and durability, and higher ply equals more layers for longer, better wear.

If you move heavy loads with your UTV, harder tires may provide better ride and resilience. More pliable rubber tires perform better in softer conditions, such as sand. When buying tires, look up whether treads extend onto the sidewall, too, as that can provide better traction, protection, and handling.

If you narrow it down to a couple of tires and need advice on which one to choose, contact us for details. Once you’ve decided on wheels and tires, we offer mounting and rotation service.

Double OTT UTVA is here for you after the sale, too, with strong customer support.
